Zoe & Jeremy
Lyrics, Literature, & Love.
Once upon a time a book nerd and a music buff fell in love and they had the most enchanting wedding day.
Zoe dreamt of a day as memorable as her favorite love stories and Jeremy envisioned transporting their guests to the jazz era of the 1920’s.
Together with a team of amazing vendors, Jeremy and zoe had a day that beautifully united their passions.
The couple started their day at the Bottleworks Hotel. The Art Deco landmark was the perfect backdrop for “getting Ready” Photos and moments with their wedding parties.
The Ceremony and Reception took place at the Historic Irvington Lodge, which is another Art Deco gem that showcases many original fixtures. While the building may appear somewhate bare, I knew that some period pieces and warm colors would transform the space into an elegant venue.
Some of my favorite added touches included a bookshelf seating chart, a 16-ft table runner made from sheet music, the most perfect book arch, and an antique typewriter and library catalogues.
The heartfelt evening included personalized vows, a remembrance song, a special Grandmother’s dance, and touching toasts.
Guests were treated to an 8ft grazing table, a BBQ Buffet, a Dessert Bar, and signature cocktails.
And as music was a top priority, throughout the evening the space was filled with the sounds of a local harpist, a jazz quartet, and a 6-person live band.
It was truly a night to remember and it was all perfectly captured by Curious COurtney Photography.
