Fairytale 1st Birthday Party

Milana’s “Once upon a time” 1st birthday party was nothing short of magical!

This party was a prime example of why you hire a party planner. planners allow you and your family the opportunity to enjoy the precious memories of the day without having to stress about the details and “play” hostess.

On the morning of Milana’s big day, a huge thunderstorm threatened to upend all of the original plans. But, after some quick thinking and re-planning this outdoor affair was turned into a hybrid event. While the family spent time together relaxing and prepping for photos, the vendors and I began setting up indoors. I then prepped extra tables and chairs for the lawn, in the event that the weather cleared.

And thank goodness, it did!

Guests were able to spread out throughout the lawn and the home, and it ended up being the perfect solution for a warm and wet July day.

This party was such a joy to plan and design, and I am forever grateful to have worked with such a rockstar group of vendors that swung with the punches and were ready to pivot at a moments notice.
