Lauren and Austin dreamed of a wedding that felt like an elevated garden party—timeless, effortless, and full of joy. With the beautiful grounds of Mustard Seed Gardens as the backdrop, they hosted an outdoor celebration that felt like pure “bliss,” with thoughtful details woven throughout the whole day.

The couple booked my Partial Planning Package, having already secured a few key vendors but looking for extra support to bring the remainder of their plans to life. With Lauren balancing wedding planning from South Carolina while pursuing grad school, I stepped in to take over the planning reins. This allowed her to stay focused on her studies while knowing that every detail of their big day was in good hands.

One of the most personal elements of their wedding was the maple tree, a focal point both in their stationery and their ceremony. Lauren hand-drew the illustration that became the heart of their invitation suite, and was further brought to life in collaboration with Lettering Grove for all the day-of stationary. Guests were told to “meet them at the maple tree,” where the couple would exchange vows under its sweeping branches. Willow & Star Flowers enhanced the setting with a romantic arrangement of airy, pastel blooms that perfectly framed the ceremony space in the soft spring light.

The bridal party added another layer of charm to the day and the whimsical pastel palette. Lauren’s bridesmaids wore beautifully mismatched dresses in shades of pink, blush, and floral prints, creating a dreamy, garden-inspired aesthetic that felt effortless and perfectly in tune with the surroundings.

Following the ceremony, guests entered a warm, candlelit space where sunlight streamed through the windows, creating the most ethereal ambiance. The tables were dressed in soft details and delicate arrangements, while a floral-filled sweetheart table became the star of the show.

The night carried a joyful, relaxed energy—with a classic tiered cake, a fun late-night popcorn station, and plenty of dancing that lasted well into the evening.
