Some wedding days feel like magic from the start—and Megan and Josh’s celebration at The Conservatory at Evergreen was one of those days. These two came to me with a vision: soft, floral clouds floating above their vows, a warm and intimate space for gathering, tattoos to mark the moment, and above all, an epic party to celebrate their love. And let’s just say…we nailed it!
The design leaned into a refined neutral palette—grounded in black, softened by white, and made even richer by the intentional use of beige. (Yes, black and brown can go together—and this wedding proved it beautifully.) From the custom draping by Ace Party Rentals to the clean, modern table settings, every element worked in harmony to strike that perfect balance between edgy and elegant.

One of the most breathtaking features? The floral installation by Willow and Star Flowers. Megan dreamed of floral clouds—and they delivered. Baby’s breath danced overhead and climbed around the ceremony arch, creating an ethereal, almost dream-like feel as light poured in through the glass walls of the venue. It was dreamy, modern, and, “effervescent.”

At the reception, black plates and napkins grounded each table, while creamy beige linens and petals softened the scene. Marble Roman numeral table markers added a edgy, editorial touch. The mix of textures— marble, glass, linen, florals, and ceramic—created the perfect balance of “hard” and “soft.”

And then… the tattoos. Yes, you read that right! Megan and Josh snuck away during cocktail hour to get matching tattoos on their wedding day—an “M” and “J” inked forever on their hands. It was bold, intentional, and uniquely them. Later that night, guests were treated to soft pretzels from a late-night food truck—a perfect cap to a high-style day full of heart.

Holly Lea Photography captured every intimate glance and joy-filled moment with grace and warmth, while Kahn Studios preserved the movement and energy of the day on film in the most cinematic way. Their work together told a love story not just about two people, but about a celebration that felt like them through and through.

Megan and Josh, thank you for trusting me with your vision—from your very first mood board to your last dance. Your day was pure magic, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.
